Hyperbaric Editions is is a taskforce editing specialized books on diving and hyperbaric medicine

It acts under under the auspices of the Swiss Underwater and Hyperbaric Medical Society (SUHMS), a scientific society representing this medical specialty under the Swiss Institute of Medical Education SIME/SIWF/ISFM.

Responsible officer: the national diving medicine representative at EDTC

The publications are textbooks for training of hyperbaric physicians under the umbrella of the SUHMS, the Swiss Society of Occupational Medicine (SGARM) and the University of Zurich (UZH).

Hyperbaric editions:

  • Edits hyperbaric publications in cooperation with a publisher.
  • Keeps and defends the copyrights of the editors and co-authors of books published under its editing
  • Manages ISBN registration of ist books.
  • Supports visibility and availability of its books, preferentially in scientific databases.
  • Compensates editing expenses through the publishers who invest and sell the books. Hyperbaric edicitions makes no profit.
